FORAL COMMUNITY OF NAVARRA

Navarre, officially known as the Comunidad Foral de Navarra, is located at the western end of the Pyrenees mountain range, which links the Iberian Peninsula and the European continent. This ancient Kingdom is bordered to the north by the French department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, to the northeast by the Basque Country, to the east and southeast by Aragon and to the south by La Rioja.

It is the third region with the highest R&D expenditure per capita with 1.90% of regional GDP, very close to the EU-27 European average and ahead of larger communities such as Catalonia.
